Getting rid of Bootstrap!

blog
Bye bye bootstrap I remade the whole website (once again) but this time the objective was getting rid of Bootstrap, I realized that I didn’t need at all something like it to manage this website. The reason I used it in the first place was so the site looked good on cellphones but I was able to achieve the same result with a couple of lines of CSS so I decided to get rid of all that bloat.
I finally finished a new music video! 'Garden of Secrets' is out!

Garden of Secrets cover art by Michi Hi everyone! I’m happy to announce that I have some new music to release, and this time it’s alongside a music video In these days I will work on having the song as a direct download in this website as well as the video. With this song out I will try to have music out more often and one of my goals for this year is having a full album before the year ends so… we will see how that goes but anyway, wish me luck!
New section on the site! FOTOLOG

blog
Fotolog resurrection? Hi everyone, short post today. I created a new section for the site: Fotolog. For now the page is going to work as a photo album for the pictures I take. Hope everyone has a great week, bye bye!
Leveling up the blog with cool bash scripts!

blog linux
Blogging is cool again I wanted to make the whole blogging thing more effective (so far I been making the html of each post all by hand) and to do so I searched for tools that can help me to do. The first program I encounter was HUGO, a static site generator that despite beeing a really great piece of software seemed a little too overkill for what I wanted to do.
Olia Lialina / NET art

art internet
Olia Lialina’s Summer, the most fragile GIF on the WWW Today I encounter the works of Oliana Lialina, in particular her work from 2013 Summer: A gif file wich every frame is hosted by a diferent person. Watching it was something unique, it reminded me how many things can only live not just in a digital form inside a computer but only on the internet, trough the conectivity of all of us (it also made me think on how something like this would be just imposibile inside the sterile walls of Facebook, Google or any of the giants that lives inside today’s internet)
Myspace whoring in 2021

social media music video
Forgive me father Hello everyone, I had sin and I need to confess. I know all social media is bullshit, I know that it’s just a machine designed to crawl into your mind and force you to spend countless hours in front of your phone pouring oceans of meaningless information straight into your mind. I know this, I’m aware of it, but… maybe, I said to myself, maybe if I just use it as a promotion tool for my music, maybe then I can take advantage of it and get something out of it.
Covid Tales

Depiction of the moment I got the test results After seeing how more and more people got COVID at my work it finally was my turn. Luckly my simptoms weren’t too severe but they were bad enough to keep me in bed for a week and a half. How did I spent that time? Someone can ask; well, like any normal person would: trying out linux on my laptop and staying awake during the night configuring dwm
The Art of Code - Great video to watch
programming memories
The other day I found this video: The Art of Code It brought me kinda back in time when I was in elementary school and they teach us how to use LOGO Writer and then when I was 11 years old and my father brought me a bunch of PC magazines that talked about stuff like Obfuscated C Code and Conway’s Game of Life. If you are somewhat interested in computers and how they work you should watch this.
DEATH TO SPOTIFY, get good old mp3s
music
There is no point for Spotify or any of those streaming platforms. If you want to listen to my music you don’t need that crap anymore, just go to MUSIC and download the mp3 files. If you got them, first of all thank you! I hope you enjoyed it. Now those files are yours, do with them whatever you want. Grafo Volaverunt 11/21/2020
First Blog entry! - Returning to the old ways
blog
Tired of the limitations and demands of social networks, I decided to create my own website and thus have a space where I can show my music in the best possible way. Welcome to my little corner of the web. Grafo Volaverunt 9/27/2020
