Forgive me father
Hello everyone, I had sin and I need to confess.
I know all social media is bullshit, I know that it’s just a machine designed to crawl into your mind and force you to spend countless hours in front of your phone pouring oceans of meaningless information straight into your mind. I know this, I’m aware of it, but… maybe, I said to myself, maybe if I just use it as a promotion tool for my music, maybe then I can take advantage of it and get something out of it. Well let me tell you, that was a big mistake.
I went back to my instagram account and tried to browse a little and post again and after using mainly this site the rigidness and sterile design of it was a depressing reminder of what internet has become.
I realised that that voice that brought me back to that wasteland is the worm that grew into my head thanks to years of exposure to facebook, youtube, twitter, and all those sites and make me expect that the whole world should be there to read or listen to the stuff I dump into the internet. This it isn’t and was never the reality. I will just put my stuff out there and it will be avialabe for whoever stumble with it.
But well, in a brighter side I’m making a music video using mostly rotoscope animation. Doing it it’s really time consuming but I think it’s looking really really good. I hope I can finish it by the end of the month and finally release a new song!
